About

Hi, and thank you for stopping by Mouse Clone. I am your host, Mark Pipkin.

I started working on computers in the year 1997. I had done some work for the High School I attended in the 10th and 11th grade. I never finished. it was my own fault. Had I listened to my parents and done what they asked, I would have finished up schooling. Instead a few years later I passed the GED test without studying. I don’t know if that makes me smart, or if it was an easy test.

I have moved on though. I now post frequently to Mouse Clone, and I run a few other sites. ASMW is one that I am working on the most currently. I really enjoy Amie Street when it came out and thought that it was a great idea to help promote Indy Artist as much as possible. They do not have the backing of a big label company, and what better way than word of mouth.

I also run a site called Atlanix.net where I am hoping to get some videos up soon about computers and Linux. I have even offered myself up as support or to help teach. I do not know everything that there is to know about Linux. I have been using it for about 3 ~ 4 years now. I main stick with Ubuntu but I have tried out other distributions as well. Ubuntu just updates every 6 months. I enjoy the “cutting edge” yet some what tested software.

As for other hobbies and interest, I have started to learn to blow glass. Though it has been put on hold until I get more propane. I did enjoy the little bit that I did do. I know that I will need to learn flame control and other things before really moving forward.

I love the freedoms that have made the United States great, and wish that people would just respect people so we do not have to create more laws. The laws really hinder the process of living free. I feel that you are limited by others around you, if you allow them too. Sometimes there is no way around it, you have to stay with in the sandbox if you want to play the game.
