What makes a 6 hour drive worse?

Well that is an easy one. Turning it into a 10 hour drive.

That is what happened to me on Sunday. Driving back from Kentucky. Tennessee was awful. The time delays from people driving too fast down a mountain with a travel trailer behind them. Thanks who ever that was.

Then it took for ever to get though the traffic in Knoxville. I mean, I understand it was Sunday, and everyone was trying to get home. Sitting on I-75 in Knoxville sucks. It sucks worse when you have already sat in traffic not just an hour ago for an hour. Then to have to sit though it again?

The wife and I did make it home safe and sound. I had to turn the keys over to her just inside of Georgia though. I couldn’t do it any more. I was tired and my leg was cramping from holding the gas peddle. Guess that is one option I should have gotten on my car, cruise control. Maybe the next car will have it.
