Surprise!

Well something unexpected happened last night when I got home. Surprise! It’s your birthday!

When I walked into the house I was startled by my wife being at the door. I didn’t even have time to compute the data before Porkchop and Shara jumped out and yelled, “Surprise! Happy Birthday!” You know it wasn’t a bunch of people, and that is good to a degree. I was expecting them to be there as it was class night for OOP learning. I just didn’t expect the surprise.

At first all I could tell that they made was cupcakes. Porkchop and Share had gotten me a card. It said something about loosing my 20’s and me turning 30. The wife had gotten me a monkey card. They all also went in and got me Fabled 2, going to be an awsome time playing that game.

So I sat down and ate some potroast. It had been cooking from about 4pm the day before I believe. needless to say it was good. Then my dad called. So I stepped out to have an after dinner smoke and talk to him. Syd came out to get me and said something to the degree of, you can hurry up and come in now. So I did.

They sung happy birthday to me while Syd was bringing out the cake. They used trick candles and tried to tell me that they were not. Syd said that she didn’t get trick candles but the packaging proved otherwise. Then she said she was tricked, and didn’t read the packaging all of the way. It was funny.

So I had a good birthday. Got some learning in, and played a little of Fabled 2 last night. And I didn’t have to use my AK, I can say, today was a good day.
