Rocken Laser Tag

The Sunday as a Christmas gift from the boss, we went to play laser tag. Let me tell you, this is the first time I have ever played laser tag and it was a blast.

The first round I placed in 8th place. It wasn’t bad for a first time go around. The next time I placed 4th I think. By the 3rd round I thought that I had it mastered with a 1st place in score. The next round yielded me a 2nd place title, and the 5th and final round I was 4th place.

I was getting really tired by the end of it. For someone that sits behind a desk all of the time it was a real challenge to keep up at times. I was sweating and running around. Getting shot, and not knowing from where. It was a blast though.

If you have never been to play laser tag, it was a great experience. I think that I might have to go more often and to see who all else I can get to go with me. It is something that I would do several time a month if the funds allows me to do so.

I think that it takes about 1 or 2 games to really warm up. The first game is to really get a feel for the course. The maze of walls and other obsticals will need to be commited to memory. Though I still got lost a few times, even in the last match.

I also think that playing FPS games helped out. By playing these types of game and emulating a little of how I play, I was able to get a good score.

So if you have one in your area you really should try it out.
