Ready for the Weekend

I’m really not a person that looks forward to the weekend all that much. Don’t get me wrong, I enjoy the days off of work, but then I know I have to come back. Most of my weekends are not relaxing. I’m normally running here and there trying to get things done that couldn’t be done during the week.

Well the past 3 weekends, other than the drive to Kentucky, have really bee relaxing. The drive to Kentucky wasn’t really bad, but the drive back sucks balls. I didn’t do much in Kentucky, as you might have read.

The 2 weekends before that, the wife and I spent at our old apt. Just hung around went to a fair, and slept a great deal. It was a get up, get something to eat. Walk around Target, wal-mart, and/or the mall. Then track back to the apartment for some snooze time. Wake up and eat dinner and and maybe do something else or just go back to sleep.

This weekends plans consist of a movie tonight, Twilight. I’m not a huge fan. Meaning I wouldn’t spend the money to go and see it if it wasn’t for the wife. Even so, we are getting the movie for free, and that is all good.

Tomorrow? Well tomorrow I’m headed down to a friends house. His wife is a massage therapist, and I’m getting a massage for fixing their computer. I love the barter system. I’m really going to enjoy that. I have been looking forward to it for about a month now.

Sunday? You guessed it. I’m not doing anything. Maybe lay on the couch and catch up on The Office. More than likely I will play some CoD. I might even get some work done on StuckCog.com (I have a video going up on the blog – http://stuckcog.com/blog). So it will mainly be odds and ends that I want to do because I just feel like it and not something that has to be done and gets in my way of relaxing. Oh yeah, I’m going to get some sleep this weekend as well.

So everyone have a good weekend. I might get another post in or I might not. Normally i don’t post on the weekend, but you never know.
