Movie Review – Super High Me
This movie is about pot smoking. You know that stuff that is illegal in the US by federal law, but not in states like California with a prescription. Yeah, that stuff.
The movie is about one man not smoking for 30 days and then staying high for 30 days. There are test that are done in between both periods of time. He takes the SAT, and some other type of test.
The movie really tells the truth about pot. Well mostly the truth, and that is just my opinion. Some people can function, while others are unable to do so. Why this drug is still illegal I don’t know. People self medicate all of the time.
If you are really against pot smoking, but yet you take a pill for depression, or anxiety, or some other type of “mood disorder” then you are no different from the person that chooses to smoke pot to help themselves relax and get though a stressful day. What about the people that go home after work and have a beer or 2?
I know there are all sorts of reason to do different things. This movie really lays out pot in all aspects. You can see the differences in smoking and not smoking with just one person. Now you will have to keep in mind that while smoking for 30 days, he is high the entire time he is up. This is not the way most people enjoy the herb.
There were days that I would stay high all day, but never for 30 days straight. It was mainly on the weekends and never every weekend. I can’t say that I never went to work stoned, or drove a car. I did. I was stupid I know. If you have ever worked in a call center you know why I smoked at that job. For the most part, working in corp America, I never went to work stoned. One because I felt that I had to be more alert to what was happening and I needed more motor function skills that I did at the house.
Remember being responsible when doing anything is good. Don’t drink and drive, don’t do it with pot either. In fact, I don’t think that you can do it with a lot of medications that are given to you by a Dr. It is just good to respect other people. No one wants to die because someone we stupid while under the influence of any drug. All drugs alter the mind, even sugar and caffeine.
Just go watch the movie and give your own opinion out it.

@curvature: for you sure. The SAT score was higher while smoking pot. His math depleted somewhat. Over all he wouldn’t smoke that much on a normal basis because he had people drive him around every where. He didn’t like that much. The Dr. said that it really hadn’t effected his health very much at all.
That’s interesting. I can see how SAT scores would be higher, mostly due to relaxation during drug use. But yea, needing to have a chauffer all of the time would be a pain in the ass.
@curvy: As you knwo I had my issues with laws and stuff like that. Some of my best times getting high I spent by myself. When I wasn’t around others that smoked I didn’t have a need or want to get blazed. half a joint and I was good few a few hours. I played video games, and just relaxed after a day of work.
I don’t think that I could servive with depending on people to drive me every where I went. I can’t say that I was right in eveything that I did while stoned, but I think that it has opened up mymind more.
