Headache from Hell

A caffeine headache is one of the worst headaches I have ever had. I don’t know how to put it. Your entire head hurts, or at least mine does. The withdrawal from caffeine hurts.

Yesterday I tried to go with out caffeine. This didn’t work so well. I normally start drinking caffeine around 7:30 am and I don’t stop until around noon, and at times I might not stop until about 4:00 pm. I’m sure that I down at least a pot a day at work. So when I try to stop, BAM! Big huge headache.

This was one of the worse that I have had in a long time. I think that I’m going to just have to cut out caffeine. Maybe 1 or to cups a day and then drink water the rest of the day.

I really do not like having a chemical hurt so much when I’m not taking it. I am sure there are worse things that your body could be dependent on, say crack for instance, but I was to the point where I was unable to work. That is not good. I don’t like having those types of issues.

Normally I do get the headache on the weekends, because I don’t drink coffee on the weekends. I have never had one that bad before. It was hard even getting to sleep. I think that the 2 Advil I took helped me get to sleep. Once I woke up I was good.

I’m going to try and work on this caffeine thing. It hurts when you do not put chemicals in your body that you are used to. Oh, almost forgot. I looked it up yesterday. For those that drink coffee all of the time like I do, there are no benefits to drinking that much coffee. So what is the point.

When Lauren and I cut out the caffeine for her pregnancy I had a headache for a couple of days. But once it goes away it says gone. We have not gone back to caffeine either. We drink Caffeine Free Diet Coke and only get caffeine if we go out to dinner. So at most one Coke’s worth a day. Maybe instead of coffee in the morning you can try taking a daily vitamam with a B-12 for that little bit on enegry boost.

I hear you. I asked the wife last night where my multi-vitamins were, and couldn’t find them. So I will need to just go and get some. there is no way that i want to deal with this type of thing over the holidays. I will not drink that much coffee or soda.

I am one of the lucky few people who just don’t like coffee at all. Wasn’t hard for me to not want any in the morning. But ever since I started taking my vitaman I really have felt like I am more awake in the morning.

I cut caffeine out of my diet about a year and a half ago and it’s one of the best things I’ve ever done for myself. The headache was bad for two days, but after that it wasn’t really a problem.

It is good to see you are still around curvy.

I’m going to work on this caffeine bit. Just going to take me some time. A lot of things have caffeine in them, even chocolates. I think as long as I’m not drinking a pot of coffee in the morning I would be better off.

I tend not to worry about the little things like chocolate. But no more coffee or soda with caffeine (except on rare occasions). I had to give it up because it really messed with my blood sugar. I would get the shakes if I hadn’t eaten in a couple of hours, and my mood would be horrible. As soon as I gave up the caffeine, that all went away. It’s amazing. Had no idea what I was doing to myself by drinking diet coke all the time.
