We opened the drug bill first. I was floored, then I remembered that I had to pay for the illegals in the states as well. No really, I remembered that there is not much I can do about it right now. So I went on opening the other bills. I opened them in reverse order from what is listed above. By the time I got to the last bill I wasn’t really floored. Lets try that here.
The Drugs - 16,784.00
The Stay - 707.00

See how the lower number at the end kinda make that large number go away, well makes you feel better.
Well I don’t know have much else to say right now. I guess I should have gotten health insurance, but I couldn’t really afford that either. It is a same how much a rip off everything is today. I would like to send a few shout out to those that made my bill so high.
1) Thank you illegals for not paying your bills and making the US public pay for your non-tax paying asses.
2) Thank you people for frivolous law suits, you have made the insurance that doctors carry cost more, thus increasing the cost of health care for everyone. How do you feel about your 3 million settlement now?
3) Just in general, I would like to thank the Hospital for charging us extra because they couldn’t get us out of the hospital faster. You charged us for taking over 30 min for a discharge when you were the hold up, thanks.

Just wanted to agree with you on the idea that illegals suck balls! Majorly large balls. I hope the next prez will push the fair tax because then they will be paying taxes and maybe we wont have to deal with such crap. Course that wont happen with a democrat… they want to bring more illegals here and raise taxes to take care of them and give them free healthcare. Yet another subject for another day.

I am thankful everyday for all the illegals. Without them we would lose 10 billion in tax money. We would also lose jobs and increase the cost of living. I bet all the republicans that want to kick them out won’t wash dishes for 6 dollars and hour. They would say “pay an American to do it”. Well an American would say “pay me 10 an hour for that job”. The company cause it is a business wouls say “sure but our prices go up with our cost cause we still expect to make 35% profit a year”. I also think if anyone wants to be mad about the cost of healthcare in our country they need to think about what makes the cost so high. The largest reason the cost of healthcare is so high in our country is because we Americans sue for everything. We sue insurance companys for a quick buck and we sue the doctors, the hospitals, even the nurses. Thus all of those people have to have insurance to cover the costs of those lawsuits (yes insurance companys have insurance as well, trust me). In the end the people that are most to blame are ourselves. We are the ones who give out millions of dollars to people for petty claims in court. So before you blame the people that work here illigally. Who mind you have taxes taken out of their checks cause the law requires it, and they can’t claim that money back like you and I. Look in the mirror and remind yourself that Americans made our cost higher then anyother country cause we let ourselves do it.

well lets see how I can put this nicely Kevin. Your Wrong about illegals. Illegals do not pay taxes. They pay taxes on things that they buy. That is county and state. They do not pay income tax, Social Security, medicare, and other payroll taxes. They don’t get checks, they get cash.
When they need health care we have to treat them and send them on their way and they do not have to pay. They do not have a SSN to track them to make them pay. They are illegals.
There are those that are here and paying taxes and not using a SSN that is theirs. They are causing people to pay higher taxes. If I take your SSN number and use it for my job, you will now have 2 incomes and you are only getting 1 check, I get the other one. So when you get an audit and they show that you have made 100k when really thought that you only made 40k. Now you owe taxes on 100k. Good luck with that.
Then again you may not mind having money taken from you or from your family. I’m not sure. Republicans may not believe in taxing the rich. Their theory is that if the big business gets a break they will pass that break on down the line and higher more people. And that has happened. Democrats do not feel they should tax the poor but tax the rich. The big business doesn’t have as much funds now to provide jobs to people that need them. Budgets get decreased and jobs don’t get done.
I’m not Republican or a Democrat. I personally think that they way things are handled on the government side sucks ass. I live in a free country, for the most part, and I have a right to say that. With everything though, like you said, and I said before, I blame the lawsuits more than I blame anything else. Although unpaid bills will cause the cost of medical to rise as well. You know what? I can’t say that my hands are washed, I have not paid hospital bills before. I couldn’t afford it at the time. I really don’t think that I can afford this right now either, but I will make my best effort to pay it before they decide that they will take what I own.

If you are aginst the “cotton picker illigal people” then stop for a minute and think about how much your shirt would cost if some was paid 10 bucks an hour to pick that cotton instead of the 4 that is paid today. You think we should kick them out thats fine, but when they leave so does corporate america. They out source loads of jobs and would do more if the growers can’t offer cheaper products. It is bad enough that we make farmers suffer cause they have to compete with countries in south america that can grow the same thing and ship it here for less then we can grow it and ship it a block away. As for their free heathcare they can get the same medical care at the same free price you can. The differance that 17k got you was the line. You can go to Grady for free. Of course Syd would have waited almost a full day before she was even seen by a nurse. Instead you went to a for profit hospital, thus you got the bill for it. In no way do I feel our ecomany or heathcare system would inprove if we kick out the 12 million people that are here trying to make the life our forefathers did. I guess if we kick them out, those that did the booting need to leave with them cause their grandparents grandparents were’nt born here or had a green card either.

I agree with the things about the lawsuits as well. I forgot to mention that in my previous comment. I don’t have a problem with the lawsuits for the most part. Without them there could be several large companies that pick on everyone else. However, the stupid lawsuits that win, I have a problem with. These can be found all over the internet. One site for instance: http://trouble.iotashan.com/jokes/stupid-lawsuits.cfm states someone was awarded $113,500 for slipping on a soft drink in a restaurant. The soft drink was on the floor because the woman had thrown it at her boyfriend 30 seconds before the slip. Acts such as this should be thrown out and the person filing the suit should be fined and possibly jailed for a day or two. This way stupidity can stop taking up the courts times and costing companies large sums of money.

Point taken about them living here. I understand that. But pay the damn taxes.
As for the price of things like picking cotton. Just because you can pay someone a crap wage doesn’t mean you should. Treating people like that is slavery. No one should be a slave unless they would like to preform sexual favors. (haha).
Big Business takes advantage of those people. You can’t say that they don’t. Also you can’t say they you don’t either by buying the cheap T-shirt.
Not all Americans are lazy people. I have worked really hard to be lazy. I paid my dues to work in an office so that I don’t have to break my back laying flooring. Not that there is anything wrong with that.
Also you talk about jobs going over seas. Well the over seas companies are coming over here, paying a completive rate, and are making money. There are Honda plants all over the US, and yet the Ford plant in Atlanta shuts down. Don’t ask me how a Japaneses company can come over and and produce the same product from over there and still make money here.
The thing is that people will pay for quality. I don’t normally buy a crappy product. I will spend 200$ more for a product that I trust and the cheaper one that might break down on me.
Now, if you didn’t have insurance would you go to Grady, or would you rather have good care and have your wife taken care of? Yes, I bitched about the bill, and everyone bitches about the bill. My wife is better so it is worth it. I don’t like the fact that health care is high, but I’m not a person that files lawsuits either. I just find it harder and harder to get ahead. I am probably just a ass and likes to bitch about shit.
Oh well. Life will go on, and you Kevin will bitch about different things than I bitch about.

I am just saying that before people point the finger there are always other options and it isn’t always the fault of illiagal imigrants for our costs today.

Kevin: I’m sorry I couldn’t name everyone that is to blame. illegals are part of it, greed from the doctors and insurance companies are another part of it, and the people that file law suites are another. Then again people wouldn’t law suites if doctors gave a refund.
I know that the human body is complicated. I don’t think that I should be charged for they running a diagnostic test and it not being the problem. How would you like to be charged for every test that was ran on your car when it was acting up. Most people wouldn’t. Doctors are the only people that can get charge for running a test when it is in no relation to the the problem. The it might be this it might be that so lets test for everything is stupid. They don’t know but don’t want to admit that they don’t know.
That is the joy of free enterprise. I love America, even when it bites me in the ass.
