Getting music on my G1

last night I spent some time going through music on Amie Street. All of the mucis that I had bought over the past year of doing ASMW was now going to pay off on my G1. So I went listening to music.

i started creating a play list for my G1. It really is just a mix of all the types of mucis that I have bought on Amie Street. It all plays really well though the radio in the new car, which is great. i really needed a better way to take my music with me.

There is one thing that I really wish that Amie Street had, and I was unable to find it. They need the ability for when you create a play list that you can download it. Currently you can only download by singles, albums, or selection. I really feel that play list should be included in that.

I don’t know that any one from Amie Street even visits this blog any more, considering that I do not do ASMW any more (for lack of a player). I really do miss ASMW and you know, maybe one day I will be able to start it back up. Until then, the G1 playlist is where I will keep my current listenings.

    Mark,

We did some clean up on playlists over the past couple weeks and thats one of the things you ll be able to access tomorrow. Youll just be able to jump to the playlist page, click download all and there is you zip file. Still have some things to do on that end. Ideally the zip should also contain an m3u for the playlist, playlist art etc. But thats for another day. You’ll also be able to browse all playlists in all sorts of different ways (Editor’s Picks, Highest Rated, Latest, Your Network, etc). Copying playlists is brought forward as well.

Still working on the players. Just had a massive backlog for the past several weeks. I’ll try and get those out for public consumption for the update next Thursday.

Thanks for the feed back Lucas. I wasn’t getting any response by email, so I had to just stop with ASMW. And that is ta suck. It is good to see that things are going well, and I have enjoyed the new site. I’m still getting used to the layout.

I knew yall were busy with the site and couldn’t get things done for us ASMW people right away. Maybe next years we can get some other things done and get it started back up.

Thanks again for the update Lucas.
