Bah… No header

I lost my header image today. A friend of mine decided to tell me about the page not loading all the way in IE. I found out after moving some things around that it was not my code that was causing the problem. It was one of the blog communities.

At any rate during the process of trying to figure out what code was killing it in IE i deleted the header png image. I guess I will have to make another one, though I may have a back up at home. I don’t know though.

If you would like to make a header image just post a link to it. The dimensions of the old image were 755×223. Well that is about all for now.

The site does work in IE now with out any errors. Thanks friend.

YAY!!! It is back up. I wish I had any idea how to help with your header. I am sure you have it saved on one of your 90 hard drives at home though.

I found the image shortly after this post. It was backed up into another directory on the server. So all is well. Your still welcome to submit a new header image if you wish to do so.

the header is showing up, but the mouse is all smushed. i don’t recall it looking like that. using ie6.0.

Chip: I’m not sure about IE6. I don’t ever use the browser. I don’t use IE at all unless I’m forced to by some website that I really need to have access to, like windows updates at work.

Mainly my browser of choice is Firefox, and that is becoming a thing of the past the more I use Opera. Firefox is a great browser, just very high in memory usage. Opera seems to be faster, its colors also seem to be more alive than in Firefox and IE.

There are some compatibility issues with using Firefox or Opera or IE6/7. They seem to all read CSS differently. Although Opera is claimed to be the most standard when it comes to W3C standards, that I’m not sure of.

As far as the squishing of the mouse goes, I really am not sure. I can’t remember if I had to do that to get it to fit on the page better or that I just didn’t want the only thing that you see when the page loads to be a big ass header.

In any case, do you have any ideas for a new header?

I always took it as the mouse was smashed my the name, kinda like it fell on him.

I really think it was done that way because the size of the other header that was in this skin. That is before I understood how WordPressed worked. Now I am decent at it and have written a plugin for it. weird huh?
