About a week ago I talked about Assassins Creed. I wanted to give you all some final thoughts on the game after tearing though it on Sunday.
The fighting style in the game is good, to a degree. I found it really easy to wait for the attack so that you could parry and smack or kill the target. Doing this and learning the grab-break, reall helps at the end of the game. You are surrounded by about 20 guys (and then butt raped). Joking about the last part. Keeping your defense up will really help.
Over all I was pleased. It wasn’t hard enough I don’t think. The repetition didn’t really get that old. Do this take to get this done. If you went about each one a different way then you were able to mix things up and keep things interesting.
I got to the point where I would piss off a bunch of guards, and then fight them all. Sometimes getting my ass kicked in the process. It made things interesting.
I didn’t collect all of the flags. I just got the ones that I ran across. Maybe there is more to the game then the ending I have seen. I do not thing that I will be going back though the game to collect all of the flags unless I get a better ending than being stuck in facility and knowing that “all assassins are now dead” feeling when you are trying to escape at that end. I just grew tired of trying to find clues that would help me get out.
This is a renter at best or borrow it from a friend. This might be the reason they started showing up used on the shelves 1 week after the release. Go figure. As fun but needed more.
