Well I got some time last night to play some Assassins Creed. I have been wanting to play this game for some time, and finally got a chance to do so.
First impressions - When the game started I had no idea what was happening. This is modern, this is not the game. Then came the game.
So first impressions were wrong. Assassins Creed seems to be about a corporation that is trying to find something from the past. They are using a machine to do past life progression from someone that left the assassin clan when he was 16. You will go back to a modern captive state from time to time. Every time you seem to have completed a mission of sorts.
As I have not played the game all of the way though, and unless all of the stuff that I have heard about it are wrong, then I will have much more to tell. for now, the game play is fairly smooth. I have gotten a lot bolder, I just fight guards in the streets for the fun of it. I don’t know if they will get harder and I will have to become more skilled. As for now. There really is not much I will not kill that the game will let me, and it is guards for now.
The environment is great. Being able to jump from building to building as well as climb them. I have enjoyed picking fights with guards, climbing a building, and doing the grab move to toss them off of the buildings for an easy kill.
There is still a lot to be discovered I feel. Time will tell for sure. For now, I have a game that is working for me some what, and I’m making use of the $900 I spent about 6 months ago.
Kevin is still trying to get me to play WoW.
