I just had to post this when I found it. Enjoy!

Well the weekend has come and gone again. This of course will have many times for the reset of my life, at least I hope that it does. I really enjoy waking up next to the wife. So I would like for that to continue.

The weekend was nice and relaxing to me. The wife went out to a small fashion show with a few friends. They all meet at that house and headed out from there.

My brother come over to the house and we ordered pizza and played Skate for a good 2 hours while the girls were out. Skate is a game that we have not played in a long time, neither of us. So we decided to give it a go. I dominated him on almost all occasions. I’m sure that he will remember differently. Of course, he did win a few times as much as I tried to not let that happen, he schooled me in some events.

I woke up around 2pm or so on Saturday. No big deal I didn’t really have anything to do. I played some EQ, and some Xbox, and just really hung around the house. Saturday night I was fighting sleep, and the wife wanted me to go to bed so that I would be easy to get up on Monday morning. I just didn’t want to get that much sleep, we all know what too much sleep does to people. I makes the Lazy! So I get to bed around 2:30 am.

Back up and going a little before 9am. Feel great. Sit down and get some more game time in. I have come to realize that I do not wish to play EQ again. I do not want to spend the time or the effort to relearn all there is about the game. There is more to know in EQ than there is to know in all of a 4 year college. I’m serious.

I really just want to play a “hack and slash” game like the Diablo. So I’m going to go out and look for a game like that. You know, I never really finished playing Diablo II. I guess I could look into playing that again. I need to get some friends into it and see if they would enjoy playing a “hack and slash” game like that. Very simple and easy to do.

I just do not want to think when I play video games any more. Let me rephrase that. I do not want to have to remember why I picked up an item 6 months ago. I do not want to have to know about quest to access different areas of games, or level restrictions. I just want to beat a boss and move on. That makes it easy and I have accomplished something.

There it is settled. I will not get involved in games that have hours and hours of quest to do. if a quest take more than 10 days. I just want to kill. Going though a dungeon and just killing mobs after mobs is great. Even RTS games are great like StarCraft or WarCraft. I really wish that StarCraft 2 would hurry up and get here, but take long enough that it is polished.
