Friday Night

Posted in Personal on April 21st, 2008

Friday night was great. I had left work early so that I would be able to catch a ride with a friend of mine to another friends house. The friends house that were where head to happened to be getting married and Friday night was his bachelor party.

So I hung out up in Dacula for a spell. More people arrived before we headed down to Oasis in Norcross.

Wow. It was a blast. I have been to strip clubs before, but never with these guys. There was T & A all over the place. I’m not going to reveal the full details of the Oasis. It is just something that your will have to experience for your self. Just make sure you have at least $100.

I also stopped drinking a few hours into it. A good thing that I did too. My wife was my DD. You always need a DD these days. The only reason that I was going to have the wife pick me up was because we had an engagement party that we needed to be at the following night. So I get a cab and head to pick her up and drive the car to the house.

What an evening. It was great and I had a great time. The wife also said that she had a great time out with her friends as well. So over all, the weekend started off great.

Stats

I check my stats on the site a good bit. I have found that the hits have fallen quite a bit.

If you are like me, then this means that changes to your website could really effect your site traffic. I do this blog mainly for fun. It does bring in some money, but not much more than to pay for the hosting cost itself.

When stats drop it could be because your content sucks, and people are just tired of reading it. It also could be from lack of posting comments on other blogs. There are several reasons.

One major reason that I feel that the stats for Mouse Clone have dropped off is because I stopped posting for a while. Really I didn’t post every day. This will drop the traffic and people will think that your blog has died and will stop visiting it.

I attempt to get a post up every day but the weekends. I try and leave the blog a lone on the weekends just because I don’t feel like posting all of the time. Sometimes I do write articles over the weekend and then have them set to post though out the week. Some of this is hard to do, just because you do not want outdated content.

So, if you see a mojor drop in your traffic, you could be doing something to cause readers not to visit your site. Then again, some people just get tired of hearing what you have to say, or get caught up in life and forget about your site. In either case, don’t loose site of why you started blogging in the first place.

Amie Street Music Wednesday #30

Amie St. Music Wednesday

Amie Street has hit the big 30, in number of post. Every week Amie Street sends out a news letter, or more of a recomendation list to the members of Amie Street. I found some ver interesting stuff in this weeks news letter. Todays artist is from that very letter.

Claire Guerreso, can sing. She has an out standing voice and her music is smooth. She is listed under alterntive and pop music. There is some blues, funk, and other types of influence that you hear coming out of the speakers.

It is really hard to recommend just one one song from Claire. The entire album is just fantastic. You should really add this to your collection. Do it now! I have to pick one, and only one. So I’m going to pick My Satellite.

My Satellite is what sold me on Claire. It is poppy, not as in pop music, more bouncy type of sound. It really is something that you can either site back and enjoy, or get into. It is not head banging, just, well it is just good music. I hope that you enjoy.

When will parents start protecting their children?

It appears as thought the Hall County Board of Education is looking to random drug test teen drivers. They will use parking passes to pay for these test.

I can agree with keeping people that DUI off of the roads. What I can’t agree with is testing minors. I know that they are currently doing it for those that wish to play football or other school sports. This still isn’t ok to me.

I know some people will argue the fact that it helps keep kids off of drugs by not allowing them to do the drugs if they wish to play a sport, and it is good for all because it cleans our streets up. Or any other crap that they wish to spew out of their mouths.

The fact is that this invades privacy. I know, I know, before anyone says anything I have random drug test at work. Yes, I feel that this is also an invasion. No one has the right to see what is in my piss. I have to do this so that I can keep my job, that doesn’t mean that I think that it is right.

On the subject of school children, they really don’t have that much of a choice, or at least they soon will not. It started in the sports and chess club. Now it is soon to move to the drivers. When will it stop. When the parents are subject to drug test to be able to send their children to school and all of the children are subject to testing or be expelled?

By the time that people realize what they have allowed to happen it will be to late. You will subject yourself to things that people have told you would benefit you and your family, knowing that their family would not be subject to the same thing. Take the mayor not having to have drug test administered.

It is wrong. I wish that people would just so their true colors. This way everyone would know of the tyrants that we have in power. From the school board to the presidential office, I have often said that the U.S. is not a free nation, it is just an election process to see what dictator will be next.
