IMVU

Ever wanted to chat in 3D. Me neither. I have played games like EverQuest where chatting was a very large part of the game. I really did enjoy the game. I have never really gotten into the 3D chat area though.
My brother sent me an invite to IMVU, and it reminded me that I have an account there. I signed up just because I thought that it was a neat idea. I still think that it is a neat idea. I wanted to put it up here so that others that have not heard of it might enjoy it as well.
As you can see over to the left you have my avatar that I use when chatting with this program. My screen name, of course, is Mouseclone. If you do not pay for the service you will have a Guest_ before your name. I don’t much care to pay for anything of this nature. It is just not something that I would avidly support unless it for for a business solution, something like Second Life would be used more for that.
IMVU is just a chat program. The only thing that really sets it apart from other IM programs is that it is done in 3D. You can also set up your rooms and different things. I do not like the group chat as it seems to be laggy to me. I have only tried this on MS Windows, so I do not know how it will act on Linux or the Mac.
So if you would like to sing up and add me to your friends list please fill free to do so. I don’t know how long I will run the program on the PC, some times i can’t remember to start up my other IM clients.
