What a weekend…
Posted in Personal on March 24th, 2008I do not normally remember weekends. It is not that I stay drunk, in fact I don’t normally have anything to drink on the weekends, I’m just not a party-er like I used to be. I still do not normally remember them by Monday morning.
Friday night I hung out at the PWD office playing Rock Band and Halo 3. It was was a great time, even though I was doing tech support about half the time. I also got some Atari 2600 and Nintendo Wii play time in as well.
On Saturday I got massive amounts of play time with Bioshock in. My wife has been trying to get me to play this game for a while now. You see, she bought it for me at Christmas time, and I play games on the hardest setting possible, unless I’m looking for a quick run though, so I have not been playing Bioshock. Once this game is beat there is very little replay value in it for me. It is not playable online. So I can’t really play with friends. How ever, Bioshock is a great game. Some of the best game play and graphics you will see on the Xbox 360.
Sunday. It was picture day. Now I am not one for pictures. Even more so the ones that I have to pay for. The wife wanted them and you can’t really argue to much about it. It is one of those pic your battle type things. I did have a good time when we got there. I just didn’t really enjoy the clothes not matching and what my opinion about them matching part before we got there. So I will get some images up for yall later on today. I think that they came out really well.
Also on Sunday I got some quality time with Call of Duty 4. I got past a part that had been troubling me a great deal. Running back down the hill trying to avoid the mobs of people coming at you. If you do not press forward in the game, then you will just get left behind. The mobs just keep coming. So you really do not have a choice when it comes to pushing though. I feel as though I made some headway in the game. I am currently at the part where I have to disable the nukes that are headed for the eastern sea board of the US.
That was most of my weekend. I know I got some great zzzzz on Saturday while the wifey was out with her sister. So stop back by later today to see the images from the photo shoot.
