Bah… No header

Posted in Personal on March 27th, 2008

I lost my header image today. A friend of mine decided to tell me about the page not loading all the way in IE. I found out after moving some things around that it was not my code that was causing the problem. It was one of the blog communities.

At any rate during the process of trying to figure out what code was killing it in IE i deleted the header png image. I guess I will have to make another one, though I may have a back up at home. I don’t know though.

If you would like to make a header image just post a link to it. The dimensions of the old image were 755×223. Well that is about all for now.

The site does work in IE now with out any errors. Thanks friend.

Amie Street Music Wednesday #27

Amie St. Music Wednesday

Ah, another hump day is apon us. This means that we are looking forward to the weekend, for those of us that work Monday thru Friday. This could also be the day that you hump someone. I’m really not sure why Wednesday is a “hump” day.

For this weeks selection to get over the hump or to hump to I have something a little hard. Not much, just enough to push you over the edge I think. Battle Circus is rocken in this weeks ASMW. I really enjoyed the blend of instruments used in Mossman’s Epoch. Have a listen to some of their other music.

You can also visit their website Battle Circus. Also have a myspace at http://www.myspace.com/battlecircus. So enjoy getting to know these guys and gal.

So have a listen, hump someone or just roll down the hill on the drive home. What ever you do, do it to music. Have a great rest of the week and visit Amie Street Music Wednesday for more people who are listening to great music on humpday.

Win an iTouch…

Posted in Personal on March 26th, 2008

Win an iTouch, not here, but over at “Cooking, by the seat of my pants.” All of the details can be found on the blog post about the iTouch.

What is the catch with this? I have read though the post and have not found any. Just need to make a post, send out an email, make a public bookmark, digg it, or something else to help drive traffic to his site. It really is not that hard. So give it a shot and enter to win.

Well, I didn’t get time to get these up yesterday, so I’m getting them up today. Here they are.

So there you have it. All pretty and crap. Now I will have to look at these every time I go to my families homes. Oh well.

What a weekend…

Posted in Personal on March 24th, 2008

I do not normally remember weekends. It is not that I stay drunk, in fact I don’t normally have anything to drink on the weekends, I’m just not a party-er like I used to be. I still do not normally remember them by Monday morning.

Friday night I hung out at the PWD office playing Rock Band and Halo 3. It was was a great time, even though I was doing tech support about half the time. I also got some Atari 2600 and Nintendo Wii play time in as well.

On Saturday I got massive amounts of play time with Bioshock in. My wife has been trying to get me to play this game for a while now. You see, she bought it for me at Christmas time, and I play games on the hardest setting possible, unless I’m looking for a quick run though, so I have not been playing Bioshock. Once this game is beat there is very little replay value in it for me. It is not playable online. So I can’t really play with friends. How ever, Bioshock is a great game. Some of the best game play and graphics you will see on the Xbox 360.

Sunday. It was picture day. Now I am not one for pictures. Even more so the ones that I have to pay for. The wife wanted them and you can’t really argue to much about it. It is one of those pic your battle type things. I did have a good time when we got there. I just didn’t really enjoy the clothes not matching and what my opinion about them matching part before we got there. So I will get some images up for yall later on today. I think that they came out really well.

Also on Sunday I got some quality time with Call of Duty 4. I got past a part that had been troubling me a great deal. Running back down the hill trying to avoid the mobs of people coming at you. If you do not press forward in the game, then you will just get left behind. The mobs just keep coming. So you really do not have a choice when it comes to pushing though. I feel as though I made some headway in the game. I am currently at the part where I have to disable the nukes that are headed for the eastern sea board of the US.

That was most of my weekend. I know I got some great zzzzz on Saturday while the wifey was out with her sister. So stop back by later today to see the images from the photo shoot.
