It is really strange being back at work after the past week. I had roamed the halls of the hospital for so long it seemed. You know 18+ hours a day in one place starts to seem normal after a while.

Being back at work, with the yellow walls, and the brownish trim drives me crazy. I don’t really know how to describe it. It is a lot like going camping for a few days and then having to return to the town. It makes you really miss the change that was for such a brief time.

I don’t much like the colors of the office. They are bland and not really anything to look at. They don’t really keep you awake. If anything they make you depressed and feel trapped. I don’t know of anyone that likes to feel that way. The carpet in the place is even yellow and brown. I’m not talking like a stained wood brown either. I’m talking like the brown that come out of the frozen yogurt machines. Getting the picture?

Well I have been steering at these yellow walls for quite some time, almost 4 years now. I don’t think much will change in the future with the wife being sick and all now. I can’t afford the hospital bills much less the treatment. Guess I will have to get a second job sometime soon to help off set the cost of everything. Just have to put up with these boring walls.
