Oh My God, Can I catch a Break!
Got p this morning to start up the ol’ RX-7 and she wouldn’t start. Oh for the love of God! The hours that I have spent working on this car to keep it running.
I sit here bitching about the fact that I work on my own car by choice. I really do not want to pay someone to work on my car. For one, it is hard to find someone that knows how to work on the car. The motor is a rotary, and just not your run of the mill piston motor. A simple motor with complex physics.
A while back the motor over heated and it has been down hill ever since it seems. I’m not sure if the problems that I have been having is a direct relation to that over heating incident. I do know that it is starting to drive me crazy, and my crazy I mean mad.
I wish I had the funds to put another motor in the car. Right now I am having to fight to keep it on the road. Maybe I will get a ton of traffic and linkbacks so that I will be able to make more money from the adds on the site.
Tonight I will go home, change into work on car clothes and start all over again on the trouble shooting. I think that I will swap the fuel pump out as well this time just in case that is causing the problem. I hope that my spark plugs are not fouled out beyond recovery. I really don’t look forward to replacing them twice in 2 months.

Been there, done that dude. You know I could only find 1, count em 1 damn mechanic in this area that would even TOUCH a rotary engine?? Then when the seals went on it and the closest engine was in Florida I said screw it and bought another one. I did manage to run it into the ground though, had going on 200,000 miles.

@blueyes - a friend on rx7club.com had one but it got sold quick. I don’t really have the money right now to even drop another motor back into the car. I have 2 rx7s now and a seized motor on one and I can’t keep fire to the other one. /hangs-head… could be me or just the fact that i’m buying old cars and using them ad DDs.
