Visit With Grandma

Well, after the drive down to Valdosta today, I got to spend a little bit of time with my grandma. She is laying in a nursing home, and can barely speak. You have to lean in close and can hardly understand her even then. It is sad to see her in the shape that she is in. She did say some things that she thought were funny. Even though I didn’t understand them, I still gave a little chuckle. People she sometimes that those with strokes don’t really know people and in her shape she may not. If there is one thing that I know, it is that she is a tough old bird. I I don’t think that I want to believe that she knows what she is talking about, I know that she knows what she is talking about.

She has always had a strong mind, even though she sometimes wonders from the conversation. I have heard stories about grandma that I would have never heard otherwise if She didn’t wonder from the conversation. She told us one time that all 8 of her children were born out of the hospital and at her house. This is unheard of today.

If someone would like to send her flowers, please send them to:

Heritage House Nursing Home
2501 N Ashley St
Valdosta, GA 31602

She is in room 118. Her name is Margaret Talbott. If you want to, please put who it is from and also mention my name or Pipkin’s. I would like to send thank you cards back out if anyone sends her flowers. Thank you all for your preyers, energy, and lighted candles.
