Dad probably thinks he's protecting his child, but in fact is just blaming an easy target. If marijuana weren't illegal but possibly 'against his better judgment', what would he have done. In all likelihood, he'd have discussed his position with the kids. Illegality enables bad parenting, just as alcoholics are often enabled by people close to them. Stop enabling bad parents - legalize marijuana and regulate it like alcohol and tobacco.
