I’m pissed off and Something needs to be said…
I was reading digg.com a little before I left work today and came across, Everything I Want to Do Is Illegal. I read comment after comment. Some were were good, and promoted conversation, others were just stupid. How about we quote some stupid ones.
having sex with that perky-breasted teen from the high school across the street? Illegal. Everything I want to do is illegal. Fucking government.
Brad324 is a dumb ass. I did reply to him. Now that I read my reply I made some spelling errors and just use wrong words. I will fix them here.
I would like to say this. My grandmother was only 14 when she married. She had 8 children, none of them at a hospital. You want to take about having sex with a teen today? They don’t even understand what responsibility is. Most of them will have their parents bail them out of jail or any other problem that they happen to get into. Woman hood used to be at a young age, notw woman hood doesn’t start until they are around 25 or 30. If a 14 year old was responsible today, I would say go for it. The sad truth is that they are not. We doingn’t prepair our children for life any more, we shove them out in the world alone, and those that are already experiaenced will take advantage of them.
It really is sad that less that 100 years later a woman moves from grown-up at 14 to not being able to grow-up ’til about 25. Yes, I am married and it may hurt my wife for me to say it, but she has not had to grow up, and I love that about her. I really truly love that innocent smile of hers when she if full of joy. I can’t stand the fact that she believes that laws like the one about the house were put into place so they would not cause harm to people. Also the age of 25 or 30 is me, there is not study or anything of that nature.
People have given up way to much freedom. I don’t know who said it but I will quote it here: “People that give up freedom for security deserve neither.”
What does that mean? That means that if you are so stupid that you think that your government will protect you, that you should not have freedom nor security. If you think that giving up your right or forcing other people to give up their right to fire arms is the best thing for your security, then you are stupid. It would make no sense to take away an honest persons defense against an dishonest persons aggressions. Those of you said that you would wave your right please go to jail, don’t pass go, and don’t tax me to death because you are stupid.
I also find it crazy from reading some of the post that you can’t drink milk straight from a cow any more. That doesn’t make any sense. My grandmother was raised on that kind of milk and she is 91 years old this year. How can you tell me that it is bad for me to drink it. You can’t tell me that what saved her life was processed milk.
I would say that America needs to wake up but from reading Reincarnate. The government in China has passed a law that states that the Dalai Lama can’t reincarnate himself. Well can’t is wrong, it is now government regulated. What the fuck is up with that. How about I tell Christians in America that they can’t go to heaven unless it is approved by congress first, and you best not die while they are on break.
Give me a break. This world will be dead soon. People are so scared of governments today. A little over 200 years ago, the US fought the British. Why? They wanted to be free. The French stormed the Bastille on July 14, 1789, now they are a bunch of pussies that will not even aid in a war that could prevent or start WWiii.
While my wife and I were arguing about freedom tonight, we looked up the word harm and the word hardship. I feel that the word harm means to hurt, pain, suffering, to cause to bleed. Hardship on the other hand was something that as difficult, bumpy road, a rough spot, or a trial that you would have to over come.
Dictionary.com says -
–noun
1. physical injury or mental damage; hurt: to do him bodily harm.
2. moral injury; evil; wrong.
–verb (used with object)
3. to do or cause harm to; injure; damage; hurt: to harm one’s reputation.
and for hardship:
1. a condition that is difficult to endure; suffering; deprivation; oppression: a life of hardship.
2. an instance or cause of this; something hard to bear, as a deprivation, lack of comfort, or constant toil or danger: They faced bravely the many hardships of frontier life.
Harm is mental? I can see that if you are brain washing someone or turning your child into a killer. Just because someone gets fired and it takes a mental toll on them, can’t constitute for harming someone. This came about because she feel that a 900sq ft house is to small to live in and that a law would be on the books because it cause someone harm. It could cause property values to go down, but it wouldn’t harm someone, that would be called a hardship to me. In some cases would lower my property taxes, in that case no way would it harm me, it would give me more money every year, unless I was trying to sell.
No very many people today know what a hardship is. They do not know how to live off of the land. They couldn’t kill an animal if their life depended on it. They are week, and they are being controlled by an even weaker government that has a vale over their eyes so that they see what the government wants them to see. They are stupid and they are the people of the US.
