Amie Street Wednesday #16

Posted in Amie Street Music Wednesday on December 19th, 2007

The week you are in for a shock. That is right, this is not another Christmas Carol or anything of the sort. This is heavy, really heavy. A few years ago I enjoyed traveling about 1 hour to see a band practice that my now wife was friends with. We had a great time.

So I know you are ready to be rocked by heavy metal, right? Good, because Atomizer has what you need. Their song Isolation is just heavy, with some scream. Maybe next week I will break out another Christmas carol after the day has pasted.

I really had to share this

Posted in Vlog on December 19th, 2007

I have never understood parents that only have one child. They must have all the time in the world to spend with them and keep them entertained. The only issue is that the parent truly can’t relate to what the child is going though. The child also can’t understand the complicated life of an adult.

I don’t know what I would have done had I not had my 2 brothers as friends growing up. Maybe I would have done what the child in this video did. Maybe I would have just killed some people. We will never know, only thing is that I can be thankful that my mom and dad had sex at least 3 times.

Busy day

Posted in Personal on December 18th, 2007

It is a busy day at work today. I think that I might skip lunch depending on how much i get done and the fact that I didn’t bring it to work. My wife normally makes it, but I didn’t get my ass up in time to do it myself either. I could just go on a hunger strike today, just for today.

At any rate, someone just walked into the office and asked “How do I get rid of that Vista program”. They were talking about Windows Vista. People seem to be running to the hills to get away from Windows Vista. I know Administrators that have uninstalled it, some even needed it for their jobs and refused to use it. Oh well that is Microsoft for you. Stick with XP or go with Linux like my father-in-law just did.

In this rambling and just another blog post that most people will not read because they find that my blog post are boring and they do not contain any content what so ever worth reading and seeing that this is the longest run on sentence with out a comma splice or anything else that would matter much at all i’m going to sign off and might be back to posting a regular post later on today and don’t forget that tomorrow is Amie Street Music Wednesday.

What a weekend

Posted in Personal on December 17th, 2007

This weekend I attended a part at a co-workers house. I drank way more than I should have and I paid the price. What price? Well I got sick and the wife got mad. It was stupid of me to think that I might be able to drink as much as i could when I was younger. I never believed it when people said that they just couldn’t do it any more.

I’m here to tell you all that if you stop for any period of time you will never be able to start back again. What do I mean? It would take a long time before I will be able to drink as much as I was able to at 21 or even 22. I have just really stopped drinking over the past couple of years. A beer at dinner is fine, but a 5th of rum is not fine.

A word to the wise, if you want to hurt for the next few days from puking be my guest and drink like you used to. I should have known better. I really should have. I was standing tall until the car ride home and then the sickness got me. I’m not sure if it was the motion of the car or what. I just had to much to drink.

All in all I had a great time at the party. I got to spend some time with people that I have not seen in a while because they went to other jobs, but they were at the party. I will know next time that I can’t handle that much any more.

Even talking with someone at work today that wasn’t at the party decided this weekend that him and a friend would drink like they used to and ended up in saying the same thing. It is a shame that the body can’t take it like it used to, but if you stop abusing the body it looses the ability to be abused.

Oh and yes, we had a DD, my wife. She is a great woman. She still puts up with me.

Building a New Site

Posted in Personal on December 14th, 2007

I have been working on a new blog. Building tools to use, more or less gathering them together and putting them in one place. The sites name is Building Observer.

At Building Observer you will be able to get the keyword trends for Google and Yahoo. I have failed to locate the ones for MSN. As I see it right now those are the top 3. I really would like to get Altavista and Ask.com up there as well. The feeds change all of the time so at any given hour they will be different.

I will also be getting some other content on there that I feel you should really pay close attention to. Some of it you may feel that you don’t need. I myself am tired of digging though all of the crap on the net to find out what really makes money. What works for some doesn’t always work for others. I also have posted my Awstats. This should allow for even further investigation about how web searches work. This is a completely experimental project and it might make money and it might not. I feel that more people should know how to make money on the web and how to do proper SEO.

Maybe though some trial and error and from all of the reading that I have been doing I will be able to have a site that just ranks way up on the scales. Maybe not, but I will have a site that is 100% organic. I hope that you enjoy it.
