Amie Street Wednesday #9

Posted in Amie Street Music Wednesday on October 31st, 2007

I am not sure what it is but I’m getting more and more into trance music. It really help to be able to leave the mind for a while and allow the music to just take you away. Music that generates positive energy is just wonderful, and helps relax and rejuvenate you in many ways. It is also extremely healthy, well the relaxing part is.

This week we have Emorej. She has won me over with So Close. This is a very nice and smooth song. I didn’t even realize it was even over. It just continued to play in my head. Give Emorej an listen and let me know what you think.

Master Chief’s Real Job

Posted in Personal on October 30th, 2007

Have you ever wondered what Master Chief does when he is not blasting aliens to pieces. Well I have done some undercover work and discovered what kind of job that Master Chief does when he is not on duty. the results may shock you. Lets take a deeper look into the life of Master Chief.

Here we have caught Master Chief laid back and drawing on the computer. He doesn’t look like he is getting much work done though.

Master Chief Laid Back drawing

Here is a shot of Master Chief drawing but he looks a little more focused than the last shot. I think that it has to do with the Monster energy drink.

Master Chief also does some programing. I don’t really know how good he is at programming though. If he is employed then he must be some good at it, right?

Something that all geeks have to have is a Whiteboard. Hear we see that Master Chief is an expert at profit. It would appear that his days killing aliens have lead to bad being death.

Master Chief using the Whiteboard

As most of the aliens do not want to mess with Master Chief, they call him the devil you know, I really don’t think that his best friend would take to kindly to you messing with Master Chief.

In conclusion, I would like to say that Master Chief seems just like a regular Joe out side of the military. I still do not think that his clients want to piss him off for fear of having a sticky’nade planted on them up side the head. None the less he seems really content with his average job.

Saints Row

Posted in Game Reviews on October 29th, 2007

Saints Row is a game much like GTA3. There are some different aspects of the game that make it interesting. Now I have only completed about 14% of the game, but I really wanted to let you know what I thought about it so far.

First lets start with the respect meter. This took me a little bit to get used to. To progress in the game you have to have respect. You can gain respect though different manners. One is where you rob a store at night and take the good out of th safe to a pawn shop. This event will get you 3 start right away. What is crazy about this is that you can load the goods into the trunk of the car and get to the pawn shop quickly. You will still have to deal with all of the cops along the way though.

Another one is where you are committing insurance fraud. This is where you will toss yourself in front of moving traffic or cause a head on auto accident. The better the fall and more cars involved the more money you make.

The last one i will tell you about is mayhem. This by far is one of the funnest to me. You just get respect from killing and blowing up things. You will receive bonus points for using different weapons depending on the mission. I used to do this in GTA, but it is apart of this game.

Now that you have some respect you can do some missions for your gang. You are in the gang Saints Row. Your color is purple, and you are a bad ass. You will go on missions that are set to wipe out the other gangs. At the same time the other gangs are trying to reclaim the territory that you took from them.

Some of the missions that I have done so far involve blowing up a recording studio, while the other charged me with killing everyone in a brothel. That is just tipping the iceberg. There are many different missions.

The player creation screen has a lot to it. You can shape the eyeballs, increase the slant of the eyes, you are even able to position the ears on the head. With many different things to choose from you may be creating your character for hours. I think that it took me about 30 minutes.

I’m going to have to put this game on my must have list, seeing as I rented the game and will have to return it. Over all I will have to give Saints Row 4 out of 5. They get discounted for not doing a better job with mouth movement during the mission movies and for not having an original idea the game. They do how ever do great work with the idea of the game. This game was also played on the xbox 360.

This game is also rated M for blood and gore, intense violence, partial nudity, strong language, strong sexual content, and use of drugs and alcohol.

Would I vote for Hillary…No, Hell No - Part 2

Posted in Personal on October 26th, 2007

As for voting, I registered yesterday, at least sent in my registration. I think that I will just put myself down for president. This way I have voted, and in what some people see, give me the right to bitch. I don’t have to vote for any primary or secondary. I could even vote for you.

If US Americans decided to take up arms against the government, they would be meet with a military force. Do you think that for one instance the people in power would give it up? I don’t. Almost 100 years after the Declaration of Independence was signed, we had a civil war. That war was a blood bath, how do you think it would turn out now? You have citizens with riffles and the government with technology.

The dictators, yes that is what they are in my opinion, rule this country by fear. I don’t car if they call the figure head “The President” or not. I’m talking about all 3 branches of the government as one dictatorship, not just one person.

I know I could move. I know if I don’t like something here I can either voice my opinion, which is what I am doing (one freedom they are starting to take away). I can vote for a puppet to be placed in front of the world. I have all of those choices. The fact remains at any given point in time the government can take it all away from you and me. They can take your land, your house, and any other positions that you have worked hard for, without giving you a reason. Unless you consider someone with fat pockets and wants to build a shopping mall on your land a good enough reason.

So do me a favor and back off. You like being controlled, I don’t. You don’t mind if you have to give up everything and start over for a mall, I do.

Ben Franklin once said, “They that can give up essential liberty to obtain a little temporary safety deserve neither liberty nor safety.”

I for one am tired of them controlling my life. The last part of the Wiccan Reed says this:

These Eight words the Rede fulfill:
“An Ye Harm None, Do What Ye Will”

To me, related to the government, I don’t need someone to tell me to wear a seatbelt. It is my life and I am in control over it. I believe that I will die because of a seat belt one day, and because there are laws that say I have to wear one I am being controlled. Will me not wearing a seat belt harm anyone but me in an auto crash? No it will not. If I am dead, people will be sorrowful, but they have had to physical harm done to them, and I don’t consider sorrow a mental harm as either.

If I want to smoke pot, while my next door neighbor drinks a six pack, you tell me what the difference is? We didn’t get behind the wheel of a car and drive, but we are both relaxed after work. That is just one example of deception that the government and media has plauged us with, and that is another topic for another day.

If you don’t feel that your freedoms are at stake, and you think that by simple voting that something will change the way the state of the current government, then you are sadly mistaken. Live in your dream world, and continue in the delusions by the picture of the world that they want you to see. Do not ever tell me that I don’t have a right to say something. Speech is a freedom that was not granted by a government, you were born with that right, and as seen in history the government can and will take it away when they feel like it.

Would I vote for Hillary…No, Hell No

I think that they should all rot in hell. The US government needs to give the power back to the people and take it away from the corporations. It is like having a parent tell a child I know what you want and even if you don’t like what I give you, will will take it any way. I’m sorry but my asshole is a little sore from todays government.

if you look at it in a broad prospective, you have major corps sewing to get privet information and then dropping the lawsuit after the information is obtained, and then sewing the individual, look at how the RIAA practices law. Other places do the same thing, judgments are brought against you with out you even being able to defend yourself or getting notified of a move in court dates. That is just where people with out money get screwed.

Our SS and other things need to be done away with like welfare. People have lived long enough off of the working class in the country, it is time that they pay either own dues, and get rid of the government funded crap. Make people responcible for their actions and their life, force them to decide what they should do instead of looking to the government for an answer. Stop people from being government dependent, that is a co-attendance, and we all know that those are unhealthy.

We need to stop saying no to drugs. This is a really bad mixed message. Say no to Drugs means the selective crap that they don’t want you to have, but the then turn around and want you to take this pill for depression, or ADD, or ADHD, or RLS, and the list goes on and own. The US government have made themselves legal drug dealers, and it needs to stop. They have harmed more people with their push for designer drugs than people smoking pot for 25 years.

Where does the US draw the line? I am just not voting. Even if I don’t vote it is still a Vote, So I am voting for no one. No one is good enough and down to earth enough for me to spend my time punching a hole with their name beside it. May the all crawl back in to the snake holes, they call law offices, and rot there.
