I was dropped off at the airport (ATL) today to catch the train home. As I entered the baggage claim area I couldn’t help but to think about how we are all herded around like cattle. There are rails that prevent you from taken the shorted distance. I just wanted to catch the train home, but instead of a direct path, I had to walk half way down baggage claim, then walk back the direction I cam from.

I am not sure if it would just create chaos, or they are doing it for security reasons. I also had to stand in line to get a ticket for the train, and another line to get though the gate for the train. Following people up the stairs, and then rushing to get on. Then I am carted to the other side of the city by rail. Getting off the train I follow people out the exit to get to my loving wife waiting for me in the car.

I hate the train, and maybe for that reason. I don’t like feeling like someone has control over where I go, and things of that nature. I know that when I’m in a car I’m still being herded around. I have to stay in the lines, take the exits to get to where I’m going. I just feel freer when driving around.

The culture of the world has bound one another with time, chains, and paths to be taken. America is not free, it is bound by its own rules and regulations that only the authorities and “well to do” (hollywood) seem to be able to circumvent. Where else can OJ Simpson walk free from killing his wife and lover? Where else can a congressman have sex in a public bathroom and get away with it? Where else can a congressman drive under the influence and get away with it? or how about a celebrity? America is the only place that this can happen, all the while I have to make the distance I travel longer because people would cause chaos from standing in a line.

This is really not about having to walk around a railing, this is about being trapped. Bound by the rules that other do not have to follow. When is the last time you have heard of congressmen taking a piss test for drugs? I have never heard of such. I think that they would have a leak if something like that did happen so they could prep for it.

If the leaders of America would submit themselves to the same that they submit the rest of the country to then we wouldn’t have some of the laws that we have. If I always have to fly my privet jet, why would I care if I make 10,000 people walk though the security at an air port barefoot. I can’t even walk into Target, Wal-mart, or any other place barefoot, why subject me to it with 10,000 other people. I wonder where someone thought up these ideas at.

I wonder if I could walk though at airport barefoot and get away with it. I think that I like my feet with out shoes on them more than I like the shoes. If I have to walk though security with out them, stands to reason that I should be able to walk anywhere with out them.

I digress.

Wow.. this weekend was busy. Friday night was the “Black Dress Party” that me and Syd went to. Saturday night we went out with some friends for his birthday party. It was a great dinner.

I didn’t do the voice mail Monday because no one was really participating in it. So I will let it go for now, I might start it back up later.

I think that I am tired enough to go to bed now and get some sleep with out just laying in bed and looking at the celling. Maybe tomorrow will be a better day to write about things.

Well, it is really is storming here, not just raining. The power at work has flashed already and some of the retail an wholesale locations have already called about data/phone dropping.

The drive home will suck balls because no one in Atlanta knows how to drive int he rain, much less when it is storming. I’m sure that the 6 lane roads around here will be shut down just to the stupid people that feel that they must drive in the rain when they don’t know how to.

Aside from those things, tonight my wife signed us up for tickets to The Loft here in Atlanta. She really wants to see Mat Kearney. She has been playing his music for the past week, so it should be fun. The “party” is being hosted by Star94 and I don’t much care for that radio station.

I will let you all know how it goes. Maybe I will get some pictures.
