In need of a post…

Posted in Amie Street Music Wednesday, Personal on September 30th, 2007

There is going to be a good bit into this post I think. On Tuesday my brother and friends got together and bought me a Xbox 360 Halo3 edition. They also got me the Special Edition of Halo3. Wow! What a gift. I just got done running though the normal mission by myself. I have gone though the missions online with them. It is a great game. Graphics are killer. I will try and get some screen shots up later on of some of the action that is happening on the game.

If you have Halo3 and care to add me to your friends list, my screen name is Wodihor. Should be simple enough.

Also I have developed more on Amie Street Music Wednesday. IT NOW HAS A SITE ALL TO ITS OWN!!!! You can go there by clicking here. I have even made a plugin for the site that will make it easier for you to post your Amie Street Music Wednesday trackbacks. Here is what it looks like:

Great right? I thought so. I will get more development into it at a later date. I really wanted to get it up and running so that I can develop on it and people can use it in the mean time.

I think that is about all for now. I need to get to work on my car, it seems to take up a great deal of my time. Maybe I can get it running right.

Amie Street Wednesday #5

Posted in Amie Street Music Wednesday on September 26th, 2007

Welcome back to another addition of Amie Street Music Wednesday.

This week I have been listening to Kill the Alarm. They are an alternative rock band with a great sound. I really enjoyed the song Sit up. They are really worth the listen. All of their songs on this album are going for $0.98, which means that people have really enjoyed their music, and I think that you would as well.

I Won My First Blog Contest

Posted in Personal on September 25th, 2007

I was out trolling some forums and came across a link to a blog contest about a picture puzzle. The contest was on skeet’s stuff and you can get to the contest here.

The contest was easy, and I would think so since I won it. I didn’t get the 10$ prize winnings yet but I did enjoy guessing at the image. Skeet is holding the contest on Tuesdays, so go there and check it out, should be lots of fun.

Oh My God, Can I catch a Break!

Posted in The RX7 on September 25th, 2007

Got p this morning to start up the ol’ RX-7 and she wouldn’t start. Oh for the love of God! The hours that I have spent working on this car to keep it running.

I sit here bitching about the fact that I work on my own car by choice. I really do not want to pay someone to work on my car. For one, it is hard to find someone that knows how to work on the car. The motor is a rotary, and just not your run of the mill piston motor. A simple motor with complex physics.

A while back the motor over heated and it has been down hill ever since it seems. I’m not sure if the problems that I have been having is a direct relation to that over heating incident. I do know that it is starting to drive me crazy, and my crazy I mean mad.

I wish I had the funds to put another motor in the car. Right now I am having to fight to keep it on the road. Maybe I will get a ton of traffic and linkbacks so that I will be able to make more money from the adds on the site.

Tonight I will go home, change into work on car clothes and start all over again on the trouble shooting. I think that I will swap the fuel pump out as well this time just in case that is causing the problem. I hope that my spark plugs are not fouled out beyond recovery. I really don’t look forward to replacing them twice in 2 months.

If you fee like donating to my RX-7 cause, mark [at] mouseclone [dot] com is my paypal address. Thank you in advance to any proceeds.
