Ask Ninja Words?

Posted in Personal on December 29th, 2006

AskNinja.com is a great vlog, imo.  I have enjoyed watching for a few months now.  I will continue into next year.  I’m to the point now that I’m afraid that if I don’t watch.  A ninja will kill me with out me even knowing it.  That is how fast a ninja is.

I was surfing the net trying to look for something cool.  I always start with digg.com.  There are so many things on digg.com to look at that other people have found.  Some of it though is just lame, they don’t hold my intrestest for very long.

While on digg.com though, I did find a good site, NinjaWords.com.  Type in a word and it pulls it from Wiktionary.  That is pretty neat.  Give it a shot.  I had fun with it.

One thing though, do you think that AskNinja.com is as fast as NinjaWords.com??

relevantNoise - the blog spies

Posted in Uncategorized on December 7th, 2006

relecantNoise is a blog spier. Whoa!? Yeah, they creep around on your blogs pulling the content down and seeing if you said something about someone else.

Lets say that Wal-mart sucks. In my personal opinion they do. Wal-mart has gone down hill from the times of Sam Walton. His children have made a money house that offers no consumer service. It doesn’t even open enough registers for people to check out. Why in the world would you have 30+ register locations to check out and only have 7 open?

Ok, the above will be spidered by relevantNoise and put somewhere for a Wal-mart exec or something like that to see. I wrote this because I don’t like what they are doing. Heck, I would go as far to say that people have been sued over some of the things that relevantNoise has found. None the less they are providing a service that would other wise take a good size IT department and server to do what they are doing. Hell, everyone likes to make money stepping on other people as well. American Dreams they call it.

relecantNoise might just be Big Brother disguised as a company and they are really looking to see if someone says something about the US Government. The US Government is not very competent in my opinion. Hell, just look at the war!

Google AdSense

Posted in Website Updates on December 7th, 2006

Okay, I got rid of the crappy Chitika Affiliate and I put up Google AdSense. If you want to sign up for it you are welcome to. Please don’t if you do not entend to use it, there is a button to the left to do so.

Why the switch? I wanted something that looked cleaner on the site. More people know Google and even less know Chitika. Just updating the updates page.

Now time to fight comment spam.

Asus Motherboards - Chassis Intrusion Error

Posted in Uncategorized on December 5th, 2006

People are currently having trouble with Asus motherboards. It seems that when you start the system after installing a new Asus motherboard you will get a system haulted message. Chassis intrusion error.

I have good news! Hold down the CTRL key while booting and you will by-pass that message. It seems to happen on new motherboards. It will also happen if you remove the jumper to install a chassis switch so that you can detect if someone open the case or not.

We build a lot of computers where I work. I don’t like buying Dells and HPs. Just want to fix it myself if something goes wrong, and I do not want to wait on a part.

Anyways, give that a shot. I’m sure you will find it an easy way to solve the Chassis Intrusion issues with Asus motherboards.
