Cedega
Posted in Uncategorized on August 16th, 2006I wanted to pomote a program that I have been using on Ubuntu Dapper Drake 6.06 to play my “MS Windows” based games. Cedega, is an interface that allows you to install games that were written for MS to be installed under Linux using Wine. You could just use Wine, but using Cedega with pre-configed files is great.
In some cases that is some playing around with the configs to get the game to work correctly. I have done most figuring out by reading the community forums and just trial and error. I have tried the official support once, but it is my fault I didn’t follow up with it because I enjoy the challange.
If you enjoy gaming as much as I do, I would recomend getting Cedega. At 15$ every quater it is not a bad price to pay to stay up-to-date. Besides is one way that I’m trying to contribute to the community of OpenSource.
